I'd imagine he's moving on for more playing time elsewhere, he's barely featured this year for us. Wish him all the best.mark wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 2:40 pmhttps://www.sheffieldsteelers.co.uk/kam ... -steelers/

Thought he was a decent player on the odd occasion I saw him. I think he was a little unlucky arriving last.
He would have need to have been a top 6 player I think to gain a regular spot. For me, he was decent nothing more.
All the best to him, can’t fault him trying to find more regular playing time if that is the reason he’s left.

I totally agree..
Curious as to why the bordering on rude...
The Sheffield Steelers can confirm that forward Kameron Kielly has left the club and returned to North America
Kielly joined the club in the summer and has played 6 games in league and cup fixtures to date.

A pretty poor release, i expect more professionislm, humanity and kindness from my club. Even more so after recent events.
Presumably Kielly jumped rather than was pushed?
Can't blame him if based on opportunities, he could and should have been for me rotated more into the lineup for the important games. Could easily have replaced a couple of underperforming players on the 3-4 lines.

I can understand a player wanting to leave but the tone of the announcement is puzzling, almost as if there had been a huge falling out between them and the club couldn't bring itself to say anything nice about him, but even if true you would expect something a little better than that. For me our media output is by far the weakest part of our organisation, it needs to be taken out of the hands of amateurs and done professionally by someone who has the authority to actually control the output including editing / blocking submissions from everyone else, not shooting ourselves in the foot several times a season would be nice for a change.
