Giants have been off the pace recently but it's still a hard place to take points out of.

Based on what i have seen of the teams thus far i will go for a 3 - 2 steelers win

A difficult one to call. Belfast have certainly had our number in Belfast over the past few years, with us only winning once in the previous 5 games.

They don't play on Saturday either, so a tough game ahead with us playing in Dundee.

Taking on a wounded Giants team could be a blessing or a curse. They will bounce back sometime, hopefully not yet. Play like the first ten to twenty minutes of last night and we will do just fine.

Superb period. Outstanding play, Belfast could not live with our speed and willingness to win the puck back.

Brilliant!

Only negative point for me is Greenfield being taken out while our players stood and watched.

At times Steelers looked in total control but probably the score line flatters a little. Besko not in Greenfield’s class.
A shame that Belfast can’t match the quality of the Dundee webcast. They not only had a penalty clock but also a running total of shots on goal. Just like the NHL!
Belfast have neither. Nor can they match the fascinating interviews in the period breaks. It’s just a long shot of some silly game and silence. Commentary has been OK though but these guys haven’t had anything to scream about yet!

Hope Petgraves lawyers can get this replayed. Around 28 mins a steeler was accidentally tripped. His back leg went up in the air in an identical fashion. Thankfully no one else involved.
