At times this team is embarassingly good, Dundee are not a bad team but the quality between the two teams tonight was evident. Great win and a great performance kept it going for the full 60, thought laing might of got 5mins experience. HAPPY TIMES

Surprised to read some of the comments. Live, it was a great game to watch. Early on when Stars were fresh it was a tussle but then our extrac pace and skill on the puck kicked in. I may be wrong on this but I counted two goals that went in off the back of the goalie’s leg. That might count as unlucky but we were so dominant that it just deemed thoroughly deserved. They inevitably eased off in the third but Stars were still trying. It was an entertaining evening.

Any news on Cormier yet? Looked like he might have lost a tooth or two. Hope he is fit enough to play next weekend.

To me it was almost a repeat fo the Clan game last week. 1st period we were unplayable, 2nd period more even, but we were always in control. 3rd period a dead session.
I understand we're missing players & double shifting others to roll 4 lines, but I'd hoped for a stronger performance for the 60mins.
There's mention of Jones & Neumann being back soon, and that may give others a chance to take a step back if carrying knock.
We seem to be coping with 5 D most of the time, with Vinnell as 4th line wing.
45 goals against all season is a stunning performance from the D corp & netties.
Loving the league position & hoping we keep rolling teams over.

Apparently he's ok. "Should be alright, nothing major" according to FoxNottonsteeler wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 10:29 pmAny news on Cormier yet? Looked like he might have lost a tooth or two. Hope he is fit enough to play next weekend.

Funny how people see it. First period was actually pretty even for me for the first 15 until we got the somewhat fortunate goal. Powered on after that including the second period.
Third we were coasting. I dont think that it helped that late on the lines were mixed and matched as he rotated all the forwards.

Yeah, I said at the time that his 5 minutes for fighting was a stretch of the imagination

If he'd fully turtled up then would agree, but he didn't. He stayed upright and in it - as a ref you want it to be that fight and settled so just calling both for 5 is standard and usually diffuses the situation.
