I must confess when that 2nd went in for Guildford I thought it wasn't going to be our night, but we stepped it up in the 3rd and showed that never die attitude.

I wish Cardiff would lose a few though, because although we do have a big lead whilst ever they're rolling I won't feel comfortable.

Saucy”s eng wasn’t any old thing. He was barely over our goal line, never looked up but stroked it the full length of the ice into the absolute centre of the net. Flames got their just deserts.

Didn't watch, but sounds like a big time character win. Guildford first to try to disrupt and goad in to penalties but we pass that test too.

Balmas now top points scorer in the league. What a pick up he's been.

We've also now scored 100 more goals than we've conceded in the league. Absolutely ridiculous.

Excellent win, as good as any we’ve earned this year. Away to a fast, we’ll organised skilful side who are as good an opposition as it gets at this level. Throw in some adversity with poor EIHL level officiating and it’s an excellent night.
