Faceoffs and powerplays aside, it was a hell of a performance. To be fair, the better the opposition, the harder it is for us to look dominant

By all common expectations we should barely have seen the puck except for picking it out of the back of our net a few times, this team is playing way above the level expected given the leagues we recruit from. As for the PP, it demonstrated what happens when you have top quality skaters, puck handlers and positional awareness against you , five on four felt like five on four and threequarters and behind that was a netminder of at least Greenfield quality, no freebies there.

It always felt that Zurich were a little quicker, harder to dislodge from the puck and better at their positioning than we were, but despite that we competed throughout and kept to our own systems and had chances to win the game. We did dominate against Prague but Zurich are a class above and it showed, but this was the best performance I have ever seen from the Steelers.

Do we know how teams achieving same points are ranked? It could be some teams on 9 points qualify, others don’t?
It appears regular wins is first decider but thereafter I cannot find ‘rules’

We know 6 teams cannot get 9 points to equal us just need 2 others to fall short.

CHL Tie-Breaker Rules:
At the moment, as the games are ongoing, teams are separated by Pts/game > Reg. Wins > All Wins in that order.

Once all Regular Season games have been completed they will be sorted by Pts > Reg. Wins > All Wins > Goal Diff. > Goals For in that order.
