Of course they do..........
They said rumours it was closing permanently is untrue, they’re not denying the mothballing though. Sounds like it’ll be closed till this is over. Tough time’s for these venues, I’d imagine Notts and Belfast will be facing similar challenges.

I don't think we could afford to finance our team on crowds/gate money at ice sheffield.

Mothballing makes financial sense. It means these venues can reduce their wage bills until such time as they're able to reopen. Rugby union, rugby super league, basketball etc are all suffering in the same way. I would suggest that no one can say with any confidence where we are going to be in 6 or 12 months time.

Has anything been heard from Nottingham and Glasgow about signing players etc? It seems very quiet. Is this an indication that they are not planning for a 2020/21 season?

Panthers said last week it would be "irresponsible" of them to announce any signings or season ticket plans under the current circumstances.19Steelers wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 12:12 pmHas anything been heard from Nottingham and Glasgow about signing players etc? I have to say I'm not sure where the "irresponsible" bit comes in.DiscoRay wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 12:24 pmPanthers said last week it would be "irresponsible" of them to announce any signings or season ticket plans under the current circumstances.19Steelers wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 12:12 pmHas anything been heard from Nottingham and Glasgow about signing players etc?
