Fantastic performance and fantastic game.
Really impressed with the physicality, didn’t get bullied. Ritchie was outstanding. Some of his stick work is incredible.
Tremblay excellent too. No one let anyone down.
On to Nottingham with no Panters or Giants.

This is how we know they can play , they have demolished several teams below them in the league this season with big scorelines. The test will come next weekend in the pressure cooker of the playoffs. Lets hope they show this level of flair , determination and controlled aggression.
Well done. We got there when some fancied teams didn't. Please don't take the Storm for granted , this is their biggest game for many years.

No players on a minus last night with Jasper and Tremblay both +3.
A strong showing at faceoffs aswell, with us winning over 60%. According to the stats Tremblay won 15 out of 17, which is outstanding.

Know what you mean here, but….. I think he’s actually playing the role he was brought in for rather than the what we normally see where a player comes to Sheffield to play a certain role, sees 8000 people and then decides he’s going to “try going back to being a skilled player”.Nathan wrote: ↑Sun Apr 12, 2026 8:21 pmMany may disagree here but I think he's becoming a bit of a liability.Doom wrote: ↑Sun Apr 12, 2026 8:10 pmI feel short changed watching that tonight.
Why couldn't we put in a performance like that week in and week out. We were physical, good passing, clinical finishing and stuck up for each other.
Watching that we do have a chance in Nottingham, because we are a decent team.
Heard deserves a fine though. How stupid to get thrown out when we're on top?
Great effort guys, glad my prediction was off.

It’s problematic when it disrupts the lines and breaks our momentum completely agreed, and last night was unfortunately an example of that. A much better use would’ve been challenge and take out Busche - which would have (if he would have accepted anyway - doubtful last night) completely disrupted Flames.
The bit we have missed for a long time is a few guys who add to our team by disrupting the others, it’s a delicate line/balance tho in our league.
Great performance last night and best of luck to the guys for the weekend.
Not read all the comments yet so not sure if this has been discussed - a goodbye skate from Tansey? He looked pretty emotional coming off at the end.
Is Dowd contracted for next year also? A likewise potential goodbye with the kids on the ice and the demeanour?
Cheers
