Job done tonight so cant knock the team for anything,,,,,, well done greener for taking record for shutouts from my favourite steelers goaltender jody lehman, starting to put himself in that select club of steelers favourites /legends,,,,,,,
Whilst I expected and predicted a win, I didn’t see one like this one!
It appears that this team is reaching it’s peak after 60 odd games! Talk about a slow burner!
Great to see Greenfield break the Steelers shutout record. Well deserved indeed! He also made some excellent key saves which could have shifted the momentum if Storm had scored. Notice Fox had saved the match puck for him
A superb ‘team’ performance, entertaining, enjoyable and great to watch. Huttula certainly answered the bell in the fight. Not sure I’ve seen many fights in the playoff weekend over the years. Where’s this been all season I ask!?
I think the occasion got to Manchester, they looked a little shell shocked. But I take nothing away from our performance. You could see our amazing fan support had also affected them when the player kicked out for abuse of official sarcastically clapped our fans as he skated off for an early bath.
Let’s hope we’ve not picked up any more injuries. I hope we’ve saved Richie until the Final. He has the ability to be the ‘X’ factor required in championship deciding games.
Whilst Cardiff have the advantage of some extra rest, I’m pretty sure we’ll go back home to the players own beds etc. wouldn’t it be terrible if the fire alarm kept going off during the night in Cardiff’s hotel
The stream commentary shifts to Jonathan Bullard I think Murphy said, so you’ll need to switch to Premier Sports if you want expert insights from Mr Murphy and the Silver Fox, who, as always looked gutted we’d got through to the final.

I thought the officials had a good game. Called it well I thought.

Ritchie gone back home as his Wife is expecting.
All the best to him & his family, I was gutted to see him missing as I've really enjoyed what he's bought to the Steelers.

6-0 and I only saw 2 goals!
Missed the last two due to the epic hike to find a non out of order toilet in Nottingham arena.
Thankfully the PA system gets broadcast in the lav so at least knew we'd scored.

Didn't get in tonight until 7.20 so didn't pay for the stream because I missed most of the first period, but have been listening on Radio Sheffield and have been transfixed. The atmosphere tonight sounded bang on and the noise from the Steelers fans came over loud and clear all night. I'll definitely be paying for the stream tomorrow. Just wish I could be there.
First game was back in December so I very much caught the start of the poor run of form after Christmas, but I have been around 8 times now and am hooked. Been a long standing ST holder at the football since my youth ( I won't say which club - its SY but not one of the Sheffield two), but am tiring of the recent poor form, the entrenched cheating in the game, the time wasting, the complete ruin of the game through money and honestly being bored most games. So I followed up on a long standing intrigue about whether hockey was my thing and now I am hooked. I've spent the last few months learning everything I can about the game and watching hours of footage. All in now.
Was worried about Tremblay there but good to hear he's been back out on the ice - hope he's OK for tomorrow. Thrilled for Greenfield getting the shut out record in a play off semi - well deserved.
Hoping to contribute some inane ramblings on here over the coming weeks and months if that's OK.
