Storm to leave Altrincham !

Not only do I hope this is a success for Manchester, but I would have thought the EIHL will want this to be as successful.

The CC final as a minimum should be held here for next season. Book it now.

I would then move the Playoffs for a while as well once the contract has run out in Nottingham. Tickets could be made more affordable, which could in-turn bring 12k+ through the doors. Nottingham's arena isn't big enough to hold the playoffs if both us and Nottingham qualify.

I expect to see the EIHL attendance records to be broken this next season. I think I read there's almost 10k in for the exhibition game against us.

Unfortunately, if Manchester perform poorly, I'd have concerns for the long term future from playing out of the old MEN. I can't imagine how much the rent will be playing from there.

Depends on how the financial deal is structured, for example when Manchester first played out of the the MEN Arena they reportedly made little on tickets but made up with the secondary spend, but the rink owners also owned the team which made it easier. Storm will have a target audience figure that will mean they are not making a loss, building that audience can be slow as we have found ourselves, look at how long it took us to recover from the numbers in the Norton Lea era. A financially successful Storm will also mean profits for the rink owners, hopefully they have come to a fair agreement that gives both organisations a chance of making a success of it.

One thing that should be improved is the game stream should be watchable compared to the old rink!
