From reading the comments on here and listening to the post game interview, it sounds like Fox summed up the game well?

I’d be amazed if the Glasgow coach keeps his job for much longer, with yet another loss at home to Guildford.

That doesn't make sense, a working PA system would be a requirement for almost any hirer of the Arena, to say it is the Steelers responsibility seems ludicrous. If that's how it pans out I'd defend the Steelers in not permitting any other user of the Arena access to the system without payment to cover maintenance costs.
Exactly this. They are not even exclusive use tenants. Its like renting a room in a HMO house and being told you're responsible for replacing the cooker.
I only shared the conversation we had, I have no insight into the management / tenant agreement, past or ongoing.

David Simms & Shaun Smith are around and open to discussions, when ever I've approached them over the years.
If in doubt go to the source, we didn't ask, the information was volunteered to us.
All that aside let's hope the 22nd, 23rd & 24th go well & we do have an improvement in the sound quality.

Mike Sirant sacked as head coach at the Clan apparently. I suppose 0 from 7 makes that somewhat inevitable.

To be clear , it was not a pop at you, just the circumstances and the strange terms of our tenancy agreement, which seem somewhat bizarre.

I rather enjoyed this game as we played with more of an edge and worked harder in as much as we battled more. Even so, I think the score line flattered us a bit but that is down to Greener making some great saves and earned his shutout. A narrow win in Manchester means a four point weekend so that will do nicely.

I guess it's no real surprise, but Clan have departed with Head Coach Mike Sirant.

It will be interesting to see who they appoint in his place.

No real surprise there, especially if you scroll up three posts on this thread.

Same it didn't work out for him there as he seemed to be able to at least partially rescue their season least year with their playoff run. Perhaps recruitment wasn't his strongpoint. You do have to wonder how much of the recruitment Zach Vinell was involved with as GM though?

A little bit naughty from Spencer, but 2 + 10 mins is about right for me.

Well done for Steele stepping in, but if you can’t do it at 5-0 up, when can you? :hey:

Honestly, Steele's reaction is about what was needed for me. Spencer a bit naughty but it was slightly half hearted and not really massively dangerous. Why potentially break a hand fighting a guy over that?

If Spencer goes through the numbers in to the boards then fair enough, that needs a fight. But half hearted little push (which is what it was really) just no point at the point in the game
