I didn’t see anything but Balmas didn’t play in OT, didn’t take a penalty shot and didn’t skate over when called for the 50/50, so I assume he is.
At last some grit and determination in that 3rd period but why none in the 2nd? I have to question the attitude of some of this team. They’re not giving enough.
Guildford should not have got a point in that game.

At last we’ve got another penalty taked in Rockwood. I cant believe how poor some ex NHL players are at penalties. One has to assume they were never allowed to to take one. Gettinger for example I’m sorry to say.

Still trying to understand that game. Most people around me were extremely disappointed at the first two periods. Tracking though has us well ahead all game. For me it was typical Fox hockey, lacking in intensity and spirit. We only had as many shots on goal as Flames. I have felt for some time and I think it is a growing feeling around that we lack real goalscorers. Balmas taken out we really struggle in that department.

Fox needs to tell his players that a hockey game is over 3 periods and not just 1. The players also need to get more shots in on the opposition goal rather than trying to play the puck into the net. Guildford bullied us all through that game and we dont have anybody who can/or is willing to do anything about it. I really dislike these fox non physical teams. I believe that if we had one big physical player who is able to rough it up then the whole dynamic of the team would change for the better, this allows other players to focus on their game more and not be weary about other players as much and relying on refs to try and protect them

I'd like to think it was because they were all smarting from being given a good old fashioned bollocking in the second interval.
I haven’t seen it tonight aa I am on holiday but it sounds like the first 2 periods were pretty horrible. However, focusing on the positives, impressive response in the third where they clearly had to dig in. I feared the worst when I saw the penalty call in OT but they saw that out as well. And we now only need 1 more win to cement a top 2 finish and a semi final slot. I'll take that.
