So this seems rather steep for a pre season friendly doesn't it?

Look at those kids prices alone! up 90%

Pricing came as a shock to me, but, because I'm desperate for some live hockey, I've paid. Having had issues with Ticketmaster before I was reluctant to go ahead, but as this was the only way to get tickets, I was forced into it. Also, even though we have season tickets for next season, I was more than a little annoyed to find we cannot book our usual seats. I was looking forward to reconnecting with our old friends. I've no doubt that the organisation on the day will be the usual first match shambles, an that face-off will be delayed. Glad to be back.

Think we’ll see increased prices for single game tickets league wide to cover Covid losses.

There’s already rumours of an agreed salary cap in 21/22 for one season only.

I believe so, extra charges are: per ticket

Per Item Fees
£2.00 (Service Charge)
£1.00 (Facility Charge)

Plus you can if wanted get actual tickets sent you after the show as a souvenir per ticket..

Get a classic paper ticket with every Mobile Ticket you purchase. When you add a Souvenir Ticket, you still enter the event using your mobile phone. Souvenir tickets will be posted to your billing address one week after the show.
Souvenir Ticket
£2.95

Considering we season ticket holders are owed 3 games from the last season, surely they could have given us tickets for the Panther's game for nowt.

It won't cover the losses if people don't turn up.

It does look quite steep pricing.

The steep rise in child prices is strange as it just gives a reason NOT to attend, and they will have balanced the effect of that against projected income from those that do. Money must be tight for this to be done. Personally this is too much for me when it's a non competitive game so I won't be attending even if they announce they have fixed the fault with the PA system.

It appears that "A Handling Fee of £2.50 per transaction applies" and there is a Delivery Charge which appears to be zero for eTickets.

The headline price (as per first post) appears to include the "£2.00 (Service Charge) + £1.00 (Facility Charge)".

e.g. for 2 x OAP @ £16 + 1 x Car @ £5 the total is £39.50

2 Senior Citizen Ticket @ £13.00 x 2 = £26.00
1 On-Site Arena Parking Car Park A @ £5.00 = £5.00
Per Item Fees: £2.00 (Service Charge) x 2 + £1.00 (Facility Charge) x 2 = £6.00
Order Processing Fees: Handling Fee (£2.50) = £2.50
Subtotal Excluding delivery £39.50
