Superb news! The AHL will probably be the next step for him I think. I'm pleased he's stayed in North America.

There could be a good chance that he will play in a few of the NHL pre-season games.

Remarkably enough, EP already have Liam listed for Tucson Roadrunners (AHL).

I reckon he will probably feature in the 'Yotes pre season games for sure, and will do more than a decent job at AHL standard now. He's ready for the next level.

I was hoping for different news if I’m honest. It would have been great for Liam to play at least one pre-season game.

At least he’ll play AHL, this is his big breakout chance to prove himself in a high-level men’s league. With the added carrot of moving up the pecking order for NHL positions.

This’ll be by far the most physical test he’ll have faced.

Made the starting six at LW for the Tucson Roadrunners pre-season fixture overnight.

But they went down 5-1 to the Henderson Silver Knights.

Scored an assist versus Henderson in a 4-1 win.

Scored his first AHL goal, Liam opened the scoring last night in a 4-0 win vs Texas Stars.
