When it was 3-4 we had won in Nottingham 3-2 which made the aggergate score 6-6 so why take the netminder off???paul johnston wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 7:34 pmWas 3-4 at the time.Steeler Stats wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 7:29 pmWhy did we take our netminder off when scores were level?

I was expecting extra time or penalties which would have been better.paul johnston wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 8:10 pmAh I see what you meant, I think they wanted to try to get the favaourable home result on the night.Steeler Stats wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 8:06 pmWhen it was 3-4 we had won in Nottingham 3-2 which made the aggergate score 6-6 so why take the netminder off???paul johnston wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 7:34 pmWas 3-4 at the time.Steeler Stats wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 7:29 pmWhy did we take our netminder off when scores were level?

Just got home.
What an emotional evening. Thought the arena did pretty well getting everyone in.
The game was as expected, lots of huff and puff and great effort, having a short bench meant playing in small spells to manage the energy.
I like the looks of the group so far. I’m sure the netminder would want 3 of those goals back.
The result was really irrelevant tonight after the tribute to our fans and players that have been cruelly taken from us.
To see lads that I knew from the charity ice hockey games I’d played in up there along with a few fans you recognise and have spoken to over the years broke me, I won’t lie. To finish it with Jeremy Domish and Tron, finished me off.
What was lovely on the ice was seeing young Sam Jones comforting Latal who was clearly moved when Tron came up.
I have to be honest, Tron would slot straight into this team, it was made for him.
