First goal should have been saved, he was blasé that he was catching it easily. Also very sloppy passing and decision making by both our forwards and d men in our own d zone. Came in to the game second half of period with eberle as always leading the way.

Tied 3-3. Better period. Panthers had some penalty trouble. We should’ve had a lead really.

Brust didn’t have much to do in the third. Carr was deservedly MOM for them. Eberle a touch of genius to win it.

Same players dragging the others through by the scruff of their neck.
Still many deficiencies in our game. Sloppy d zone play, either overplaying individually in the o zone trying to do too much or looking for an extra pass when taking a shot would be better option, average pp, still think netminding below average when Brust in net, still a few players who are playing below par.
If we can get 75-80% of the team all playing at the best of their ability night in night out we would be hard to live with.

Easy selection for MOM both teams.

A deserved win for the Steelers. Panthers had the best of the 1st period, but we were much better in the 2nd & 3rd.

Very disappointing not managing to score on over 3 mins of 5 on 3 PP.

Still plenty of room for improvement, but I wouldn’t say there’s any team that are way ahead of the others yet.

I thought after the first 10 mins of period 1 (which were awful), we dominated open play. We should have been out of sight but for some poor finishing.
This team needs to play on the front foot and with intensity as we continue to be suspect at the back (I'll not comment on Brust as he'll get enough coverage I fear).
The pp looks like it needs lots of work. Its slow and uninventive (particularly given the talent on our roster).
Overall a deserved win. Panthers were poor.

Tend to agree with others’ comments on the whole. Power play needs work.

I thought Brust looked a little better and seems more engaged with his teammates. Still think he’s got more to give if he can be bothered to put the work in.

Thought we got lucky with a couple of penalty calls in the 3rd.

Overall deserved the win.

Little bit concerned as to why it took Brust nearly 3 hours to realise there was a delayed penalty and then skate over to the bench.

You'd think that someone with his experience would be dialled in enough to see a situation like that occurring. 🤔
