The game ends 1-2. Steelers Win!
Solid 3rd defensively, 3 wins on spin.
Enjoyed Oleksuk’s game tonight, brigs us what we need in a Fox side, that forward who’s as defensively responsible as he is offensively.

A ground out win, ugly but we got over the line. Rok outstanding, but little puck control when in possession. We are quite predictable on the pp too.
Without wishing to sound too negative, Stars looked like they wanted it more than us.

After Rok, Oleksuk then Shulze were my top guys tonight, they both stood out for me. The whole d unit had a tremendous game. The forwards offensively to a man were surprisingly consistently poor, the lines just not working at all. The pp continues to be very poor.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 7:18 pmThe game ends 1-2. Steelers Win!

I still think Deluca continues to struggle massively with all facets of his game (I know he is streaky but not seeing anything) and wonder what Foxy is thinking.
First period, we scored after four minutes of hometeam pressure on essentially our first offensive foray, after that we pretty much dominated the period without the end result.
Second period I dont know what happened, we were lacklustre and second best the whole period. They upped their physicality and dirtiness and we didn't really front up to that which was pretty disappointing. Last period we seemed in control and sat back pretty much controlling their offensive threat.
So good defensive road win against a very good side.
Haas needed his ass handed to him.
We have a lot of work to do offensively, line changes maybe, and on the pp.

Just another thing. Hodgman is a very good team player. He collected and took the puck to the bench after ASD scored (presumably his first Steelers) and the puck at final whistle for Rok after his match performance.

That's definitely a player who plays for the team on the front rather his name on the back.
Well done Justin!
