Wow, fantastic result, having the likes of Vally, Dowd, Eberle sat in the stands, it took a massive effort.

Hope Conns is okay after hurting his knee.

STEELERS WIN!!!

3-1 victory over the Aalborg Pirates.

Unbelievable defensive effort under huge pressure basically camped in our D zone for 40minutes. Just a massive character win.

3 points on the board.

Barry Brust takes MOTM.

Hard work brought the result. Well done Steelers.

Even more short benched now. Thought Graham did well for his few shifts.

Will be difficult to progress but a positive following last Sunday.

Great win with all the injuries around the team. It puts us in a very good position now! A big effort tommorro and we are through I think?

Fine performance from the few against the many, taking chances at good times and BB solid at the back.

Poor quality feed with a totally unecessary comment at the end of the commentary about it being "worth £15.00 of anybody's money."

Awful stream and dreadful game to watch. Wouldn’t give you 50p for that stream.

Full credit to the team for a great result. If that’s how European hockey is played and Fox prefers that style of play then it’s time to look at re-arranging my sock drawer.

Boys club.

All cut from the same cloth I'm afraid.

It was just a boring game, nothing to do with "European hockey", whatever that means.

I think it was more to do with the nature of the tournament and quality of the team. Everyone (not everyone) seems to think the Danish league is far superior to the EIHL. It isn't. It's ok.

Had that been a SHL team it would have been a demolition job.

'European Hockey' is usually quite open and quick, league depending, but that last night was very cagey.

Stream quality was very poor but not anything the Steelers can do anything about, that's down to who's doing the actual broadcast from the rink, however that lack of quality is exactly why live streams should cost very little instead of what they are generally priced at. Shudra and Fearnley are still the best pair of commentators from any of the streams I have watched around the league, just a shame about what sounded like a dig at the end, if it wasn't a dig then fair enough but if it was then all I can say is that he is spending too much time listening to the bile spewed by Simms. Be better than him Mr Fearnley, please.
