I think he’s another on the casualty list, shoulder injury I believe. Not iced with Leeds for at least a month now.

Connolly’s injury looked nasty. I can see the injured reserve list being used here. Valdix will have to do for now.

I said before a puck was dropped that I was concerned at the average age of our squad. Only Eberle who plays an abrasive game so is likely to pick up injuries is below the age of 30 on our injury list. All the other injuries are above 30 years old.

He’s received a contract extension covering this weekend, won’t count as a change with Connolly & Vallerand on IR.

It's back dated to 8th November, so he should be available from 29th if he's fit.

I would think we will keep Valdix on now for the season with Connolly out for the year as we need a center and he seems to have fit right in (as expected)

Would think we may be in the market for another player at least with our injuries and potentially with the currently unresolved DeLuca case.

We can still make 4 official changes.

I'm not sure when or if there's a trade deadline next year, but I would certainly be tempted to use at least one change, possibly 2 depending on the DeLuca situation.

Guess the hard part is whether there are players even available than can come in.

Great that Valdix was available at short notice.
