• The NHS COVID pass, commonly referred to as a vaccine passport, will be made mandatory in a week's time for nightclubs and venues with large crowds. People will be able to use the pass to show either proof of two vaccine doses or a negative lateral flow test result.

Arena doesn’t hold 10k for ice hockey anyway.

It looks to me like masks will need to be worn in the arena seats on Saturday .
From BBC news this morning.
“From Friday 10 December, face coverings will be mandatory for most indoor public venues including places of worship, theatres and cinemas, as well as in shops and on public transport.”
Only exceptions are eating places , pubs , gyms and choirs.
The pass may not be mandatory from Next Wednesday as we are seated and below 10,000.

In addition surely evidence of vaccination or a negative test will be needed. Surely the arena cannot now continue its half soaked policy of spot checks with no attempt to say what percentage are examined. Arena must now take Covid seriously. If cardiff can do it surely we can.

What's proving your vaccination status going to do? You can still pass it on when jabbed up.Bryan wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 12:40 pmIn addition surely evidence of vaccination or a negative test will be needed. From the Steelers website:
https://sheffieldsteelers.co.uk/steelers-statement-4/The Sheffield Steelers would like to confirm that after discussions with the Utilita Arena Sheffield that all visitors will need a face mask when entering the arena.
The safety of all of our fans, players and staff are of upmost priority to the club and inline with Government advice we would ask that you co-operate with this request.
If all fans attending Saturday’s game could please ensure that they arrive as early as possible this will assist in the speed and flow of spectators gaining admission to our home building.
