Embarrassing over reaction by Brust with the initial dive and then reacting to a none event, perfectly happy with the reaction of it followed an actual incident

It was a bit Ginn/Carr like, don't like to see that from our guys.
However, DOPS is all over the place with its analysis of incidents and punishments accordingly dished out.

I was hoping it would kick off more

No issues with the one game ban though from DOPS.

I thought 2 mins for roughing during the game was lenient, so not surprised at all by this.

Think something must’ve been said to Brust after he regained his feet to provoke that reaction. If he reacted like that every time he got bumped or landed in the net…

Cardiff forward Stephen Dixon was suspended by DoPS for one game following an incident in their Boxing Day shootout win at Coventry.

The forward was penalised for an illegal check to the head on Blaze defenceman Dane Gibson with a Major and Game Misconduct in the game itself by the officials.

He has not been classed as a repeat offender.

Was about right I think, careless but not much force there and no lasting injury Gibson iced the remaininder.
