Once more, a narrow win.
These guys keep on finding the greasy wins out which is a good sign. But we can only hope the injury list doesn't continue to grow.
That said, a few days recuperation before the second leg of the CC quarter final in Kirkcaldy. It'll be needed for sure.

Another good response. Once the energy built and we played like we all know we can it is tough to stem the tide.
6 goals will win you most games.

We desperately need some bodies back as the 10 minutes of great play here and there won’t beat the likes of Belfast & Cardiff.
Enjoy the day off lads, well deserved!

Once Vally got the shorthanded goal, we upped the tempo skating hard along with our own physicality. I think we realise that's when our team shows its true colours. Without that tempo we struggle. We made it harder than we should in the end, Hodgie should have scored on the 2 v 1 pass from Graham when he essentially had an open goal.
All teams are fighting these injuries along with too many games in short space of time. Exacerbated of course by the bench squad size allowed. Admittedly our injury run seems horrendous compared to others. Im not sure Giants have been through much yet but I could be wrong on that.
I thought Graham looked better again. He seems quicker on his feet and in his play. He must have taken the fitness/weight loss comments from Foxy on board. Shudra did well too and I hope that these guys get get more ice team even when we get a couple of the imports back because they deserve it.
It was a fun last 10 minutes though!!

My first game at the Arena this year, thanks to isolation and can’t get to school night games.
Felt it was a bit of a flat performance but with the run of games coming up, maybe the strategy is to absorb pressure and have the occasional bit of faster play to win the game.
I will be disappointed if Shudra isn’t in the EIHL next year, he certainly looked comfortable and being a two-way/swing is to his advantage.
Graham did well too.
I wonder whether we would be able to get Whistle back as he certainly deserves a second chance, but if the rumours are true would he follow his dad to Nottingham?

I'd be very disappointed if he wasn't in our roster full time next term.
