Nottingham seem to have improved now Wallace is no longer in charge. After a strong start we seemed to cool off a bit.
Couple of calls went there way.
1-1

Well, haven't Panthers improved, they are streets ahead of where they were, probably the better team in the 1st period and that high prais because I believe both teams came out fast and full of intention, so far this has the makings of a proper Steelers v Panthers game... More of the same please...

Played fairly decent that period. Again fairly cheap penalties give Panthers chances, then they score, to get back in the game. We have been caught by a quick transition a few times and I think the forwards collectively are still a bit lazy with regards to their defensive responsibility.
Lucky not to be 2-1 down when Vally tried to take on Hedberg just across our blue line with Panthers hitting the metal work.
For Panthers Carr actually looks a bit off his game tonight.

Terrible from the Steelers period. Again. Too soft, overplaying the puck. Terrible passing in our d zone. Getting ahead of the puck too often. Frequently turning over possession in our d zone.
If it wasn't for Rok we could be 2-3 down.
