Tuesday the 8th March, are you going?
Dear season ticket holder,

We want to show our thanks for your loyal support all season long, and have an exciting addition to your diary, one that will hopefully put a big smile on your face.

The club are inviting you to an exclusive season ticket holders only evening at the Utilita Arena on Tuesday 8th March, with doors opening at 6:30pm and the players taking to the ice from 7:15pm.

Please arrive early as only the Red concourse will be open and seating will be first come - first served for this event.

On the night you will see the Steelers training on the ice under the supervision of head coach Aaron Fox, who will be arranging some fun and games on the ice, with the Steelers bench being mic'd up so Foxy can explain what’s happening in real time.

We will be holding raffles and competitions to win great prizes from the club, you'll receive a special discount on store items for one night only and we'll be selling a number of clearance items at bargain prices.

After practice has ended all the guys will come upstairs to meet you on concourse level for signings and photos.

This is going to be a great night with the Steelers, much more than just a training session, so make a note in your diary and come and meet the team, have some fun and win some special prizes.

Really enjoyed the last one.

I think it's a great idea from the club. It would be even better if they charged say £5 for non-season ticket holders. I would like to see what a real training session is all about, although I'm not fussed about meeting players etc.

yeah I love that idea too, I dont think it would be hard to police, but I think the exclusive to the Season ticket holders is may be easier as they dont have to pay for the ticketmaster rip off and Arena costs of box office etc...

£5 cash on the door? Can’t imagine it can be any harder than flogging the 50-50 tickets.

Can’t imagine there’d be a huge demand for people to go.

Don't want to sound like I'm being elitist here but I'd prefer it to stay a ST holder only event.

Which is fair considering I don’t think season ticket holders get enough advantages to be honest.

I do think for us minions it would be great if perhaps they held a separate training open evening for the £5 nominal fee.

I’m not fussed about meeting players or receiving 20% off the shop.

Maybe those watching tonight will post better educated thoughts under "what's gone wrong", please.
