Cardiff are just as inconsistent as us really, and have their own injury issues with 4D.

Although really if you’re not finishing first then it doesn’t matter where you finish down to 8th.

Wow 75% went for a win in regulation for the Steelers including myself.

I thought the confidence from a great performance a week ago would continue here against a very average Nottingham side.

This could be the league title gone here.

Not a very good result tonight.

Need a massive swing now, four points and six less regulation wins behind the Giants is starting to look like climbing Everest. Steelers and Devils have blinked, Giants bar last Saturday, are an unstoppable teal steamroller heading towards a second trophy of the season.
Hockey fan since 1980, Steeler since day one.

I always think Fox speaks well after most games. He knows that we’ve not really been good enough for a while.

Listening to Fox I am concerned that it doesn’t seem that the team are not buying in to the game plan and playing the full 60 minutes.

Title race over if so.

... plus not likely to have many players back next season. If they aren't listening now, why would they be next season?

Fox sounds incredibly deflated.

I think he may be already putting a line threw some names and starting a fresh with the new contracts, we have had a decent season but not a great one and depending on squad numbers next season I see Fox Starting almost from scratch. I think the goalie situation and the entire defence need a reel strong look at... I am sorry but the defenders at the minute are really not at the same standard as a few of the teams below us!
I would also be in the market for a stud goalie, if Fox still wants to go for the tandem import goalie option then the Rok would make an excellent second netminder, i would be real concerned if he either went with our current pair or even the Rok as our number one, some of you have forgot what a top draw netminder looks like because we haven't had one in years :arrg:

Its pretty clear that Fox pulls his punches in interviews but you can tell he's not happy about the things or lack of things we generally have been mentioning. The lack of compete across 60 minutes, the missing heart, character, battle element.

11 Games left. Probably need to win all 11 of them now.
