I am sorry but Smurf has finally lost the plot, there is plenty wrong in this league he could highlight but he doesn't, but is tirade against the arena clubs and the EHIL is way off the mark in every way.. he has been banging the same drum now for 20 years... he was wrong then and he is even further from the truth now if that was possible...
the games are fixed apparently (scripted and predicted) was his actual words..
teams are throwing games against Fife and Coventry and Manchester.
Sheffield Nottingham Cardiff Belfast all losing fans! but should drop out the EIHL and go into Europe..

He has finally lost the plot in my opinion!

Who is this bloke?
An average at best British forward player. Ex Nottingham Panthers Player that played for them during most of the 90's during the BHL
Played for us very briefly in the BISL, before getting injured I believe... and then trying to sue the club over the injury and later the medical bills he said the club didn't cover!

From memory the Club maintained he had players medical insurance that covered it.
He also said that the injury ended his playing career and it was the Steelers fault in some way..
All that is from memory so someone here may correct me if I am wrong in any of that, but that is the jist of it as I recall..

I do know he then continued his feud very publicly via social media over the following years getting more and more bitter as the years went by and then becoming very opinionated about almost everything about the ISL and then later EIHL.
Always comparing everything back to when the hockey was so amazing back in his day..

Thing is he was never that good even at his best, from my memory of him. but hey I suppose thats just my opinion years later.

And over the years he has become somewhat of a hockey embarrassment... :slaphead:

He should be filed in the same category as Paul Wheeler, in that his EIHL opinion will come from a position of bitterness & resent towards the league as they felt it has wronged them somehow in the past.
