I've gone for a split weekend here and a Giants 3-2 OT win for this one.

Guess this would mean it would be all to play for in Belfast the week after? I have to admit, I don't fully understand all the different scenarios. I guess we can lose one of 3 games against Belfast though?

Certainly looking forward to the two games though. Think this one is on Prem Sports as well.

If we've lost on Saturday can Belfast win the league in our building by winning this one?

If Belfast pick up 4 points and we get 1 or less then they lift the title on Sunday.

Hopefully we come into Sundays game with 2 points already in the bag and can carry the momentum into this one and continue our push for the title. Be interesting to see how this one pans out with a lot of energy going into game 1 on Saturday, could we see any lineup changes or do we just keep rolling what we saw Wednesday?

The scenarios that could arise depending how the points are split (I think this is correct):

2 regulation wins for Steelers - we can win the league with a win against the Clan
1 regulation win and 1 OT/SO win for Steelers - Steelers would then need 3 more points from the remaining 2 away games (Clan and Giants)
2 OT/SO wins for Steelers - Steelers would need to beat Clan and Giants away to win the league, assuming Belfast would beat Blaze on final day, if Belfast were to lose to Blaze on final day (in any fashion) a point would be enough for Sheffield in Belfast to have been enough.

2 regulation wins for Belfast - title is theirs
1 regulation win and 1 OT/SO win for Belfast - title is theirs
2 OT/SO wins for Belfast - Belfast would only need another point from Sheffield in Belfast or the Blaze game on final day to win the league.

I think we will split the weekend like we did in Belfast.

Leaving it all to play for in Belfast.

split weekend with 2 or 3 points each would mean a decider in Belfast, assuming (and it's a big assumption) we beat Clan and Belfast beat Blaze.

Very much a do or die game now.

We have to find at least another gear if we want the title race to continue on.

Barry to play anyone?

Need a marked improvement in performance in all three zones if we’re to deal with a Belfast side who are clearly a cut above the rest.

Belfast score more and concede less than any other side in the division.

I think that would be a huge risk considering how long it's been since he iced.

Belfast are going to win the league title. But I’m plagued by the thought that if we hadn’t dropped all those points against lower teams we would have too much in the bag for Belfast. But that wouldn’t be right. Giants are clearly a better team.
