I like to class it as realistic...

Thought it was a mirror image of the CC semi! we had chances but never looked like scoring! Belfast, just like Cardiff took theirs, although we did give Cardiff 4 of their goals.
We have to play at pace and move the puck far quicker up the ice! any team that beats us knows if they keep a man centre ice in the neutral zone they will stop us!
I don't agree about Roc and Besco! their averages are very similar and Roc has done a great job for us, they just have a better defensive core and crucially, they haven't had the injuries ALL the other teams have had.

Overall I think we've been pretty realistic, we have a good team but have been savaged by injuries to key players and that has led to some inconsistent results but the truth is that if both sides play at their best then Belfast have the edge. But then again this forum was pretty realistic in assessing where we were under PT, unfortunately if this goes against the corporate line then we get slagged off in the match night program because like all authoritarians they fear the public mood. The media side of this club is becoming a festering pustule on the posterior of UK Hockey.

May I add my voice to those defending Brust from an unwarranted attack on here. He had a period of playing well when injury free.
An unwarranted ATTACK ?
SERIOUSLY?

I merely stated that I thought his signature was a waste of time.

MY opinion.

If you don't agree with that, fine.

Don't call me out for attacking someone for which I clearly haven't done.
I’ve not seen any what I would call an ‘attack’ on Brust.

A few of us including myself have been disappointed with him from coming in unfit to his body language looking as though (IMO) he’s not bothered or doesn’t want to be here.

He was supposed to be a marque signing and I really, really wanted to love him and have certainly enjoyed a couple of performances from him but that isn’t what he was brought in for to play a few good games.

I wouldn’t say there’s been an attack though on him.
