Does anyone know if we might see Brendan ready to play for the playoffs? Would be great to see him back on the ice.

I really hope so, he has been a huge loss to this team in my opinion, not just his goals an assists but his style of play and the way he drags the team along with him and agitates the in form players on the other side...

He’s ruled out of the World Championship’s and is unable to attempt skating till August.

Two serious knee injuries in 3 seasons, have to wonder where he sees his career this off season?

If thats the case I really do hope Fox sees the value in that type of player, not 3rd 4th line quality either proper top 6 in yer face disruptor or agitator someone with that flair for the game and a proper winner that we spend top dollar (for our league) on to make the difference. A bigger guy would be great, preferably another centre..

Not much to ask is it ;)

From reading the comments I wouldn’t expect we’ll see him play for us again.

Like you say @Jayboy lets hope Fox sees what a player(s) like him bring.

Hope he makes a full recovery in time.

I asked him at the S/T night how he was and his response was, "Looking to next season."

Think we've missed his spark certainly, he often had his best games when it mattered most too, hopeful to see him back next season fully fit and ready to go.

Thing is, he'll be 37 y/o by the time next season gets underway.

I hope I'm wrong but something tells me he's done.
Has to think of his long term health.

We need to replace him as near as we can like for like though if at all possibly, bu with a younger player. In fact I wouldn't say no to two of them..

Not for me I'm afraid.

I loved his feisty attitude and he put up his fair share of points, but he was coming towards the end of his career before the injury. He'd be far too much of a risk next season.

Go for someone younger who plays with a similar feisty attitude.

Oh for a young Brebant.
