Finished 2-0 Denmark last night.

Hoping for at least a goal this afternoon as I'm taking the kids to watch the game today.

First time at the motor point and first time watching GB.

Well, it didn't go to plan....0-8 to Denmark!

Yes, it was men againt boys and Denmark played within themselves - it was a friendly, so no real hits.

We gave away other of penalties - 8 in total, with 6 seeing a Steeler in the box.

Denmark were so impressive watch, their passing was especially slick.

We tried, but just lacked any real quality. We had 3 PPs in succession at the start of the 3rd and couldn't fashion any real chances. We hit the post in the second (I think), but that was as good as it got.

We enjoyed the day out and the chanting with the drums. The kids just love hockey and sewing their Steelers heros playing one more time was enough Just! Just a shame we didn't get one goal to cheer.

Doesn't bode well for the next few weeks.

Not really. Denmark battered us by a similar score previously, and we still stayed up.

Enjoyed the first 2 periods against the Cech’s. Don’t really deserve to be 2-0 down. Their 1st goal looked offside and we could have easily had a couple of goals.

Unfortunately like watching most games in the EIHL, our passing is poor and we continually give the puck away. O’Connor has given them two great chances with his usual give always.

If I may...can I retract my previous comments about Great Britain staying up...after the 4 warm up games and this game against Czechia, I just don't see it

We can defend okay, and Bowns looked good in the first 2 periods, but our problem is we can't score!

Liam Kirk and Mike Hammond have scored a majority of our goals in the top flight, and we don't have either of them.

We don't have a legitimate threat of offence...our only hope seems to be if Austria lose their first 7 games, and then get to a one game winner stays up situation against us...and Bowns stands on his head then I think we have a punters chance, but I am not holding out much hope

I hope they prove me wrong tommorrow against the Norweigans!
